We are pleased to announce that our team’s research has been featured in the newly released World Health Organization (WHO) report titled: Air Quality, Energy and Health Science and Policy Summaries: Understanding the Health Impacts of Sand and Dust Storms Access the Report
Our scoping and systematic reviews form the core of the report (pp. 50–59), providing critical evidence on the health impacts of sand and dust storms. This work is the outcome of a year-long collaboration with WHO’s Department of Environment, Climate Change and Health.
This important work will serve as a foundation for evidence-informed global health policy. WHO has hosted a launch webinar to make the release on Thursday, 17 July 2025
